February 14, 2008. Age 44. Loving and devoted mother of beautiful Kristina Sobel who plays for the NMSC Premier U-14 Thundercats. Dear friend of many in the North Macomb Soccer Club family. Debbie was voted "Soccer Mom of the Year" for the State of Michigan by MSYSA for 2007-2008. Debbie fought the bravest battle against luekemia, and, to all who knew and loved her, will always be remembered. Debbie touched so many people in the soccer community. We will miss you as a friend and a parent on the sidelines.
