North Macomb Soccer Club (NMSC) is a travel organization that provides affordable, quality soccer for both boys and girls within our community. We are continually improving our program to enhance the opportunities for the current and future soccer players in our area.
NMSC recognizes the changing economic times in Michigan and is doing everything possible to reduce the costs associated with playing travel soccer.
We are excited to announce our Junior Development Program – also known as the JDP. The JDP is designed to introduce children from ages 7 - 9 to the game of soccer. We have an All Star lineup of coaches including Jason Davis, Jeff McGill and Paul Kastens that are committed to making this program successful.
· Registration is $75.00 per player for each eight week class.
· Training will be held at Gilcher Park located at 29 Mile Rd and Mound.
· Sessions will be between 1 to 1.5 hours per night.
· Spring class begins the 1st week of April 2010.
· Classes will be limited to 20 applicants.

(Aug 15th) Nike Northville Rush Kickoff Classic Tournament Nmsc Black 97 Boys (Crew) won the Northville Kickoff Classic, beating Northville Rush in OT.
(Aug 15th) Nike Northville Rush Kickoff Classic Tournament Nmsc Black 97 Girls (LadyCrew) made it to the finals, but lost to the Michigan Rush 97.
(Aug 8th) NSR Cup, Saginaw Nmsc Black 97 Girls (LadyCrew) played up, competing in the U14 Division, and made it to the finals, losing in overtime to Vardar North 96

Our club showed well this weekend at the Michigan ODP tryouts. I would like to congratulate the following players in making their respective age group pools-

Marisa Oleksiak has been named to the “95” Regional ODP pool. She was 1 of 11 Girls from Michigan chosen to the Region 2 pool. The regional camp had over 300 kids from 12 different states competing for a spot on the regional pool. Marisa plays for NMSC 96 Black and is coached by Paul Kastens.
NMSC is pleased to announce our formal affiliation
While this affiliation will not affect how our club currently operates, it will give us the positive support of a knowledgeable organization that can help us to see the growth that we desire with our Premier teams.
As part of this affiliate program Jason Davis has been named as the NMSC Technical Director and will serve as the liaison between the clubs.
SPRING TOURNAMENT RESULTS
May 09/10 2009 U10 NMSC Starz 99 played in the 2009 Midland Invitational Tournament and went 3-0 to win the championship for their division. Team coach Scott Mukhtar.
April 2009 U13 NMSC Storm 96A competed in the 2009 Javanon Cup in Kentucky, and were down 1-0 in the final championship game, when the game was called at half, due to weather and field conditions. Team Coach Paul Kastens.
